Conversion rules
Uppercase and lowercase use Unicode default rules, independent of the page language. Chinese, Japanese, emoji, whitespace and punctuation remain present. Casing can change length, for example ß becomes SS. No Unicode normalization or whitespace cleanup is applied.
Title mode lowercases each word-like segment then uppercases its first code point. It is a simple rule, not an editorial style guide. Sentence mode lowercases the text then capitalizes the first letter and letters after . ! ? 。!? or a line break. Abbreviations and proper names need manual review. Inverted case toggles each cased code point, which can expand characters.
Input is limited to 100,000 UTF-16 units and 400,000 UTF-8 bytes with 45-second checkpoints. Upper/lower conversion is one bounded synchronous operation; cancellation takes effect at checkpoints. Output is limited to 300,000 UTF-16 units and 400,000 UTF-8 bytes; case expansion may exceed this budget. TXT contains the actual result as UTF-8.
Common questions
Does title mode follow a publishing style guide?
No. Every word-like segment follows the same first-code-point rule. Acronyms, small words, abbreviations and proper names may need editing.
Will switching language change the casing rules?
No. Casing uses Unicode default rules, not Turkish or other locale-specific casing. Title word segmentation uses English; without Intl.Segmenter it uses Unicode letter/number groups with internal apostrophes.
