Help & FAQs

Choose once; switch tools freely.

Keep the part of an image you need. The selection uses the oriented original pixels, and the downloaded dimensions match the selected rectangle.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose one or more static JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or uncompressed BMP images, a folder or a ZIP archive.
  2. Move and resize the box with pointer or keyboard, then check pixel coordinates and dimensions.
  3. Choose a format, crop and compare the result with the selection before downloading.

A crop you can verify

Drag inside the box to move it, or drag the corner to resize. Arrow keys move one pixel; Shift moves ten. On the corner, arrows resize. Alt plus arrows also resize the focused box. Numeric coordinates offer an additional keyboard path.

Ratio presets create a centered selection. Pixel rounding can slightly alter a preset ratio. Editing numeric coordinates returns to a free rectangle. Invalid or out-of-bounds rectangles cannot be exported.

Process a folder or ZIP locally

Import up to 50 images, 100 MB of input and 100 million pixels in total. Each image must stay within 15 MB, 16 million pixels and 8192 pixels per side. Folder imports include nested folders; non-image files are skipped. All files stay in this page’s memory.

Apply the same settings and process images one at a time. Failed images are listed separately and do not block other files. Preview individual results or download a ZIP with preserved folder paths and unique output names. Encrypted ZIPs, ZIP64 and nested archives are unsupported. Changing settings clears old results; cancelling keeps already completed results.

Common questions

Is the visible box the actual output?

Yes. The integer x, y, width and height shown are the source region used for the output. The result is not enlarged.

Can I crop on a phone?

The box and corner handle accept touch pointer gestures. You can also edit the numeric fields.

Can cropping preserve transparency?

Choose PNG or WebP. JPEG replaces transparent pixels with your background color.
